This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous residential conveyancing experience who is looking to join a supportive team where they can continue developing their knowledge and experience.
What will you be doing?
- Supporting Conveyancers with residential sales and purchases from instruction through to completion
- Opening new files and carrying out client onboarding and AML checks
- Drafting contracts and preparing legal documentation
- Ordering searches and reviewing search results
- Preparing mortgage reports and supporting documentation
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and solicitors
- Assisting with enquiries and preparing files for exchange of contracts
- Supporting with exchanges and completions
- Dealing with post-completion matters where required
- Providing general administrative support to the wider Conveyancing team
- Previous experience working as a Conveyancing Assistant or Conveyancing Paralegal
- A good understanding of the residential conveyancing process
- Experience supporting both sales and purchase transactions
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- A proactive approach and the ability to manage a busy workload
- Someone who enjoys working as part of a team and delivering excellent client service
