Panel Beater

We are seeking an experienced Panel Beater to join a reputable accident repair centre in Castleford. This is a well-established group known for stability and growth within the automotive repair industry. The successful Panel Beater will become a vital part of a busy accident repair centre committed to delivering high standards of workmanship and customer service.

Benefits:

• Basic salary up to £45,760, dependent on experience
• OTE approximately £60,000
• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, no weekends

Duties of a Panel Beater:

• Replacing or repairing damaged vehicle panels to a high standard
• Conducting insurance repairs and some retail work
• Planning job schedules and ordering parts to ensure timely vehicle repairs
• Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge and technical skills
• Ensuring high levels of customer service that foster customer loyalty and referrals
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly work documentation

Requirements of a Panel Beater:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Panel Beater in a bodyshop or main dealer setting
• Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
• Strong communication and multi-tasking skills
• ATA qualification would be advantageous but not essential
• NVQ Level 3 qualification desirable; extensive experience also welcomed
