Vehicle Technician | Outside IR35 Contract
Location: Donnington, Telford, Shropshire
Pay: £17.00/hr Base Rate + £5.00/hr Living Allowance (£22.00/hr Total) | Paid Weekly
Contract: 6-Month Contract (High Potential for Extension)
IR35 Status: Outside IR35
Shift: Mon–Thu 07:30–16:30 | Fri 07:30–13:00 (Early Friday Finish!)

About the Role
Join E-ppl Ltd on a critical fleet maintenance project in Donnington, working alongside a skilled, supportive team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the operational readiness, safety, and regulatory compliance of Stored and Sustainment Fleet platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic inspections, routine servicing, and complex repairs on designated fleet platforms.
- Complete rectification maintenance ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections.
- Execute fleet upgrades, reworks, and resolve defects identified during quality examinations.
- Maintain strict adherence to site Health & Safety guidelines.
Location & Commute
Situated conveniently in Donnington (Telford) with quick access via the M54, A442, and A5.
- Local Commuters: Easily accessible from Telford, Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Cannock, Stafford, and the wider Shropshire/West Midlands area.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must provide proof of the following:
- Qualifications: Valid proof of NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds (or equivalent) Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
- Experience: Proven background as a Vehicle Technician (Fleet, Commercial, or Ex-Forces/Military vehicle background strongly preferred).
- Clearance: Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance (fully sponsored, managed, and paid for by E-ppl).
