As a Senior Management Accountant in Ringwood, you will manage core management accounting work for a Retail business, helping the Accounting & Finance department maintain clear and useful financial information. You will turn financial data into practical insight that supports day-to-day decisions and smooth business planning.

Description

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts to give the business a clear view of financial performance.
• Review financial data and investigate material movements to improve the quality of reporting.
• Produce regular financial reports that help colleagues understand key results and trends.
• Maintain reliable accounting records and ensure financial information is complete and up to date.
• Work with Accounting & Finance colleagues to gather information for management reporting.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activity by providing clear financial analysis.
• Analyse costs and performance measures to help inform business decisions.
• Improve reporting processes where practical, helping the Senior Management Accountant remit run efficiently.

Profile

A successful Senior Management Accountant should have:

• Experience preparing management accounts and regular financial reports.
• Strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to review data and explain key movements.
• Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Confidence working with accounting records and maintaining accurate financial information.
• Ability to analyse costs and performance information for business use.
• Experience working within an Accounting & Finance function.

Job Offer

• Permanent Senior Management Accountant position based in Ringwood.
• Salary of £45,000 to £60,000 dependent on the level of experience.
