About the role
Novara People are recruiting Production / Assembly Operatives on behalf of our client, a well-established lighting manufacturer based in Leeds.
This is a hands-on, bench-based assembly role, ideal for candidates who enjoy practical work and have excellent attention to detail.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assembling lighting products and electrical components.
Wiring plugs and connecting components following instructions.
Working at a production bench using basic hand tools.
Following diagrams and assembly instructions.
Checking finished products for quality and accuracy.
Identifying and reporting any faults or defects.
Meeting daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
Keeping workstations clean, tidy and organised.
Following all health and safety procedures.
Skills Required
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous production or assembly experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training is provided.

£12.71 per hour
