About the role
Python Engineer / Forward Deployed Engineer
Location: London / Hybrid
We're looking for a Python Engineer / Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with clients, solving complex technical problems and turning ideas into production-ready solutions. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys working across software development, cloud platforms, data, and stakeholder engagement.
What you'll be doing
- Building and deploying Python-based applications and services in customer environments.
- Working closely with stakeholders to understand business problems and rapidly deliver solutions.
- Designing APIs, integrations, automation workflows and cloud-native platforms.
- Troubleshooting production issues and improving performance, reliability and scalability.
- Collaborating with product, engineering and client teams to drive successful outcomes.
What we're looking for
- Strong Python development experience (FastAPI, Flask or Django).
- Experience building scalable APIs and backend services.
- Cloud experience across AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Strong SQL and data integration skills.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and modern CI/CD practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and taking ownership of delivery.
Desirable
- Experience with AI/LLM applications, agentic AI or RAG solutions.
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep or CloudFormation).
- Experience in consulting, professional services or customer-facing engineering roles.
