About the role
Our client is looking for a Material Planner / Analyst to support the MP&L Manager in ensuring material availability, production continuity, and customer schedule fulfilment. The role combines planning, forecasting, stock management, data analysis, and cross-functional communication to support business performance

Description
- Manage customer schedules and support daily customer communications.
- Ensure material availability to meet production and customer demand.
- Forecast demand using sales data and business intelligence.
- Work closely with production, logistics, warehouse, and subcontract suppliers.
- Monitor inventory levels while reducing obsolete stock exposure.
- Produce reports, analyse data, and manipulate customer schedules using Excel.
Profile
- Previous experience in a Materials Planning, Production Planning, or Supply Chain role.
- Ideally experienced within automotive or a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
