Scaffolder

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Scaffolder to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, dismantling, and maintaining scaffolding structures on various sites. This role requires a strong understanding of construction safety protocols and the ability to work efficiently at heights. Responsibilities

• Erect, alter, and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with safety standards and project specifications.
• Inspect scaffolding for stability and safety before use, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other tradesmen such as carpenters, roofers, electricians, and masons to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and materials are stored safely after use.
• Perform routine maintenance on scaffolding components to ensure the longevity and safety of structures.
• Follow all health and safety procedures diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Skills

• Proven experience in scaffolding or relevant construction roles.
• Scaffolding qualifications essential.
• Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes related to scaffolding components.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail for safety inspections and assembly procedures.
