About the role
Commercial Electrician Coventry / Midlands Circa £40,000 per annum, depending on experience + Company Van & Equipment Permanent RETAIND Recruitment is recruiting for a Commercial Electrician to join an established facilities management services provider based in Coventry. Working across a varied commercial client portfolio, you will undertake electrical installation, maintenance and fault-finding work at schools, hospitals, retail and leisure facilities, offices and industrial premises. There is no domestic or social housing work involved. The role predominantly covers Coventry and the wider Midlands, with occasional travel further afield across the UK. Working away may be required, although this is rare. The Role: Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across commercial premises.
Diagnose faults and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
Undertake electrical installations, alterations and upgrades.
Complete relevant job records and electrical documentation.
Liaise professionally with clients and site contacts, keeping disruption to their operations to a minimum.
Support work involving automated gates and barriers where required, depending on your experience.
About You: A qualified electrician with relevant commercial electrical experience.
Confident in fault-finding, maintenance and installation work.
Able to work independently, organise your workload and take ownership of jobs.
Professional and customer-focused, with a practical approach to solving problems.
A full UK driving licence.
Experience with automated gates, barriers or associated control systems would be an advantage, but is not essential. Applications from commercial electricians without automation experience are welcomed.
What's on Offer: Salary circa £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
