Assistant Production Manager- Nightshift

Responsibilities

• Assist the Production Manager in overseeing day-to-day production operations to ensure efficient processes and high-quality output
• Monitor production schedules and workflows, making necessary adjustments to optimize resource utilization
• Collaborate with team members to implement safety and hygiene standards across all production lines
• Assist in training and mentoring production staff to enhance their skills and performance
• Help coordinate maintenance and repair schedules for production equipment to minimize downtime
• Analyse production metrics and prepare reports on efficiency, quality control, and waste reduction
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting and implementing process enhancements

Requirements

• Proven experience in a production management role within the food manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality standards
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team to achieve production goals
• Strong problem-solving skills and the capability to make decisions under pressure
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with various stakeholders
• Flexibility to work shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays

Hours of work - Sunday to Thursday 21:45-06:30
