About Me
I am gentleman in my mid sixties who lives in Miskin with my cat Acki. I have Multiple Sclerosis and as a result have issues with my mobility and dexterity.I can walk short distances indoors but use an electric wheelchair for outdoors. I enjoy going out into the community and socialising. I enjoy travel and exploring new places but I am also happy revisiting local places e.g. St. Fagans and Dyffryn Gardens.I enjoy watching sport on the TV and support Cardiff FC. I also enjoy visiting museums, the theatre, restaurants and coffee shops and going to the beach for a drive.
Hours of Work
15 Hours spread over 3 days.
Rate of Pay
£15.75 per hour
Main Duties
•Take me out in the car to places of interest. You will be expected to use my car. It has a very easy to use hoist in the boot that lifts the electric wheelchair in/out of the car.
•Drive me to Hospital Appointments, Dr's Surgery etc
•Take me shopping for food and occasionaly clothes
•Prepare meals and drinks as required
•Light domestic tasks such as loading the washing machine and washing dishes after meal prep
•Ensure my safety and wellbeing at all times
Personal Specifications
The ideal PA will be
•Reliable, trustworthy and committed
•Responsible with a mature attitude and good common sense
•In possession of a full clean driving license
•Able to provide safe and respectful support while promoting dignity and independence. boot that lifts the electric wheelchair in/out of the car.
