About the role
Are you a litigator who enjoys solving problems, winning arguments (professionally, of course), and helping clients navigate disputes? If so, we may have just the opportunity for you.
We're recruiting for a firm who are looking for an experienced Dispute Resolution Lawyer to join a busy and growing team handling a varied civil litigation caseload. Whether you prefer the buzz of an office environment or your commute consists of walking from the kettle to your desk, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
Your caseload will include a broad range of civil litigation matters, with a particular focus on:
• Property disputes for investors and developers across the UK
• Debt recovery and enforcement work
• General civil and commercial litigation
• Professional negligence matters (desirable but not essential)
The team doesn't handle personal injury or medical negligence work, and contested probate is covered by a specialist, meaning you can focus on what you do best.
What We're Looking For
• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX)
• Ideally 4+ years' PQE within dispute resolution
• Experience handling property litigation and debt recovery matters
• Strong client care and communication skills
• A commercial mindset and solid billing history
• Someone who enjoys being part of a team and helping a department grow
Remote & Flexible Working
The firm are interested in results, not how many times you've walked past a manager's office.
The ideal candidate may be based in Wiltshire or work on a hybrid basis, but the firm are equally happy to consider fully remote candidates with a proven track record of working successfully from home.
Got a Niche Interest? Even better.
Whether you've already developed expertise in a specialist area or have ambitions to become known for one, the firm will support you in developing your practice and profile.
If you're looking for a litigation role where you're trusted to get on with the job, supported by experienced colleagues, and judged on the quality of your work rather than where you're sitting, we'd love to have a confidential chat.
