Commercial Finance Manager
Location: Hemel Hempstead (hybrid working)
Salary: Circa £55,000 + bonus

The Role
Reporting to the commercial team, you will partner with teams across Sales, Marketing and Demand Planning, providing insightful financial analysis and helping drive sales, margin and profitability.

Key responsibilities will include:
* Business partnering with commercial teams, providing financial support, challenge and insight to support decision-making.
* Analysing channel profitability and identifying opportunities to improve margins, control costs and drive growth.
* Preparing business cases for new products, ranges, pricing initiatives and commercial opportunities.
* Supporting tender submissions with financial analysis and modelling.
* Contributing to budgeting, forecasting, demand planning and longer-term business planning.
* Reviewing actual performance against budget and forecast, providing meaningful commentary on variances.
* Developing reports, financial presentations and analysis to communicate performance and support strategic decisions.
* Monitoring business risks and opportunities, helping stakeholders understand the financial implications.
* Supporting the ongoing development of reporting and data capabilities, including Power BI.
* Assisting with month-end activities and wider finance projects as required.

About You
You will be a qualified finance professional who combines strong analytical skills with commercial curiosity and the confidence to build effective relationships across the business.

You will ideally bring:
* ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
* Experience in a commercial finance or FP&A role.
* Strong business partnering skills, with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders constructively.
* Excellent analytical skills and a strong understanding of financial performance drivers.
* Advanced Excel skills and experience producing meaningful financial analysis.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate financial information into clear commercial insight.
* A proactive, organised approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
