PE Coach

Location: Newham, East London
Start Date: After October Half Term
Contract: Long-term position

We are currently recruiting for a motivated and enthusiastic PE Coach to join a secondary school in Newham, East London, on a long-term basis, starting after the October half-term.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about sport, physical education and supporting young people to develop their skills, confidence and teamwork.

• Support the delivery of PE lessons and sporting activities across the secondary age range.

• Lead and supervise practical sports sessions, encouraging participation and engagement.

• Support teachers in maintaining positive behaviour and discipline during lessons.

• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship and healthy lifestyles among students.

• Assist with organising extracurricular sports activities and school fixtures.

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of students during all sporting activities.

• Previous experience working as a PE Coach, Sports Coach or in a similar role.

• Confident working with secondary school-aged students.

• Strong communication, organisation and behaviour management skills.

• Passionate about sport and encouraging young people to participate in physical activity.

• Reliable, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a school team.

• A long-term opportunity within a secondary school in Newham.

• A start date immediately after the October half-term.
