Voids Cleaner Location: Redhill, Surrey Salary: £25,179 per annum Hours: 36 hours per week, full-time Contract: Permanent About the Role Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Voids Cleaner to join a housing provider's team in the Redhill area of Surrey on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for an experienced cleaner who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of preparing empty properties to a high standard. You will be responsible for deep cleaning homes between tenancies, ensuring they are clean, safe and ready for new residents to move in. Working as part of a wider property and trades team, you will need to be organised, reliable and flexible, with the ability to work independently while supporting colleagues when required. Key Responsibilities Carry out general cleaning duties across empty residential properties. Sweep, hoover, mop, dust and polish surfaces throughout properties. Deep clean kitchens, bathrooms and other areas to ensure homes are ready for re-letting. Use cleaning equipment and materials safely, following relevant health and safety procedures. Record completed work and materials used accurately using handheld IT devices. Work alongside other trades and property teams to meet deadlines and maintain a high standard of service. Manage workloads effectively and adapt to changing priorities as required. Requirements Previous cleaning experience, ideally within domestic, commercial or housing environments. Good organisational and time management skills. Ability to work independently, use initiative and take responsibility for completing tasks. Flexible approach to workloads and working collaboratively with other teams. Reliable, hardworking and committed to delivering a high-quality cleaning service. Full, clean UK driving licence. Willingness to undergo DBS clearance.
