About the role
Service Care Solutions is delighted to be working in partnership with a local authority , based in Oxfordshire , which is seeking an experienced Trading Standards Lawyer to join its legal team on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor or lawyer with a background in local government or the public sector to contribute their expertise to a busy local authority legal service. Role: Trading Standards Lawyer Location: Oxfordshire - Hybrid Umbrella Rate: £40 - £60 per hour PAYE Inc. Rate: £35.12 - £52.51 per hour Contract: 3 months initially The Role Provide legal advice and support on Trading Standards matters within a local authority setting. Support the authority in managing legal matters and proceedings relating to Trading Standards enforcement. Undertake relevant legal work, including court attendance as required. Key Requirements: Qualified solicitor or lawyer (in England and Wales) with a minimum of 3 years' PQE in Trading Standards law and related enforcement matters. Previous local government or public sector legal experience. Availability to start at short notice. Benefits: Hybrid working. Weekly pay – the rate offered will depend on experience and interview performance. Flexible hours.
