Salary: Up to £77,000 + Package\n

\nA leading infrastructure and engineering contractor is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of a major long-term energy infrastructure project in Dagenham.\n
\n
\nThis is an opportunity to join a well-established business with a strong order book, a secure pipeline of work and a reputation for delivering complex infrastructure projects across the UK.\n

The Role
\n
\nReporting into the commercial leadership team, you'll play a key role in the commercial management of a major infrastructure project, ensuring robust commercial controls are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.\n
\n
Key responsibilities include:
\n
\n· Preparation of valuations and applications for payment\n
\n· Cost reporting and commercial forecasting\n
\n· Management of subcontractor and supplier accounts\n
\n· Procurement and commercial administration\n
\n· NEC contract administration and change management\n
\n· Compensation Events and commercial risk management\n
\n· Agreement of final accounts\n
\n· Supporting project teams with commercial advice and guidance\n
\n· Identifying opportunities for value engineering and cost optimisation\n
\n
About You
\n
\nWe're keen to hear from candidates who have:\n
\n
\n· Experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or an experienced Quantity Surveyor ready to step up\n
\n· Strong NEC contract knowledge\n
\n· Infrastructure, utilities, energy, civil engineering or major construction experience\n
\n· Strong commercial and contractual awareness\n
\n· HND, Degree or equivalent qualification\n
\n· RICS/ICES membership or working towards chartership is desirable\n
\n
