Accounts Payable Manager

As an Accounts Payable Manager in the retail industry, you'll oversee the day-to-day management of the accounts payable function, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Your role will involve managing invoices, payments and vendor relationships, helping the business maintain strong financial control. Description Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.Oversee invoice processing and resolve any discrepancies or issues.Maintain and strengthen relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.Reconcile accounts payable ledgers to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.Prepare and process payment runs, including BACS and cheque payments.Monitor and manage aged creditor balances, ensuring compliance with company policies.Support the wider accounting and finance team with month-end and year-end processes.Implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the accounts payable function.Profile A successful Accounts Payable Manager should have: Proven experience in accounts payable or a related role within the accounting and finance sector.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams effectively.A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Problem-solving abilities to handle invoice discrepancies and payment issues.Job Offer Salary ranging from 38,000 to 44,000, dependent on the level of experience.Permanent position with job stability.Employee discount as part of the benefits package.If you're interested in this role, apply now.
