Supervising Social Worker - Fostering & Adoption Team Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Supervising Social Worker to join the Fostering & Adoption Team on behalf of a local authority. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Social Worker with a background in fostering and adoption services to join a supportive team dedicated to achieving positive outcomes for children and families. Job Details Position: Supervising Social Worker Team: Fostering & Adoption Rate: £42.00 per hour Umbrella (£32.91 PAYE) Contract: Initial contract with potential for extension Hours: Full-time Key Responsibilities Support, supervise, and assess foster carers Complete fostering assessments and annual reviews Participate in matching and placement planning for children Work closely with children, families, foster carers, and partner agencies Ensure safeguarding standards are met and maintained Prepare reports for fostering panels and other professional meetings Requirements Qualified Social Worker (Degree, DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent) Registered with Social Work England Previous experience within Fostering and/or Adoption Services Strong assessment, report writing, and safeguarding skills Full UK driving licence preferred This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team and make a real difference to the lives of children and foster families.
