Forklift Driver

Impact Recruitment are working with a well–established manufacturing business in Kettering to recruit a Forklift Driver to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a hands–on role supporting the day–to–day operation of the yard and workshop, ensuring materials are moved safely and efficiently and the working environment remains organised and tidy. Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–4:30pm Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire Salary: 14.50 per hour Overtime: Paid at 1.5x Responsibilities: Safely operate a counterbalance forklift across the yard and workshop.Load and unload materials and products.Move materials and stock around the site as required.Support the production and workshop teams with the movement of materials.Ensure materials are stored safely and correctly.Maintain a clean, tidy and well–organised yard.Work with urgency to ensure materials are available when required.Carry out tasks accurately and efficiently.Follow all relevant Health & Safety procedures and site requirements.Identify and report any issues relating to materials, equipment or the working environment.Support the wider team with general yard and warehouse duties when required.Maintain a high standard of housekeeping throughout the yard and workshop.Requirements: MUST hold an in–date Counterbalance Forklift Licence.MUST have a UK Driving License or Motorbike LicensePrevious experience within a manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential.Comfortable working in a busy, hands–on environment.Able to work with urgency and prioritise tasks effectively.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Good organisational skills.Reliable, punctual and hardworking.Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.Ability to work effectively as part of a wider team.Benefits: 14.50 per hour.Overtime paid at 1.5x.Monday–Friday, 8am–4:30pm.20 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.Quarterly KPI–driven bonus scheme.Opportunity to join a growing and well–established manufacturing business.Opportunity to work on prestigious commercial and residential projects.If you are interested in this opportunity then please apply with an up to date CV and we will be in contact.
