Machine Operator 13.71 per hour Corby (NN17 4JW) 4–Day Week Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm – Midnight Immediate Start Available An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Machine Operator to join a successful and growing manufacturing company based in Corby. With over 35 years of industry experience, our client has established a strong reputation for quality and innovation and is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join their production team. This is a hands–on role offering full training, a supportive working environment, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position with a well–established employer. The Role Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your duties will include: Operating a variety of production machineryConducting visual and dimensional quality checks to ensure products meet specificationsLoading, feeding and moving materials safely throughout the production processCarrying out routine machine lubrication and basic maintenance tasksUsing a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to transport finished products into the warehouseFollowing production schedules and maintenance proceduresMaintaining high standards of health & safety, quality and productivity at all times About You To be successful in this role, you should ideally have: Previous experience within manufacturing, production, machine operation, powder coating, or a similar industrial environmentA good understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standardsThe ability to work to production targets and follow instructions accuratelyA positive attitude and willingness to learn new skillsStrong communication and teamwork skillsCounterbalance FLT experience or licence (advantageous but not essential)Experience of chemical paint stripping processes within a manufacturing environment would be beneficialFull training and ongoing support will be provided for the right candidate.
