About the role
🚛 Van Driver wanted in Gloucester paying £13.00ph to £14.00ph, with starts between 04:00 and 10:00. This is an ad-hoc temporary requirement until Christmas, delivering winter products to customers. - Driving a 3.5t van for deliveries and collections
- Moving vehicles around the yard and ensuring they are loaded correctly and ready for departure.
- Delivering full pallets, mostly forklifted, with occasional use of a tail lift or pallet truck.
- Keeping the yard clean, tidy and organised.
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional attitude.
- Being flexible and happy to drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle at the same rate when required.
- Valid UK Category B driving licence.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
- Maximum of 9 penalty points for minor offences only.
- Physically fit and comfortable with light manual handling.
- Available for starts between 04:00 and 10:00, Monday to Friday, with some weekends.
- Reliable, flexible, professional and customer-focused attitude.
- £13.00–£14.00 per hour (PAYE).
- Minimum 8 hours' pay guaranteed per day.
- Weekly or monthly pay options.
- Flexible ad-hoc shifts with the option of ongoing work.
- Occasional weekend work available at higher rates.
- Paid annual leave and access to a pension scheme.
