Legal Support Assistant

Service Care Legal are recruiting for a Legal Services Assistant to join the in-house legal team of a leading housing association. Supporting both litigation and property transactions, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of a busy and high-performing legal function. This position will be on an initial 3 month contract ROLE: Legal Support Assistant LOCATION: West London RATE: Salary equivalent of £31,490 CONTRACT: 1 month (with possibility of extension) Please note that this role would require office attendance a minimum of 3 days per week. The Role Provide administrative support to the legal team, including document preparation, file management, court bundles and diary management. Liaise with courts, tribunals, Land Registry and external legal representatives. Manage legal case management systems, invoices, purchase orders and supplier payments. Support legal projects, team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives. About You Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in Maths and English. Highly organised with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Teams and document management systems. Previous experience within a legal environment and knowledge of housing, property or conveyancing matters would be advantageous.
