Your New Role
Our client are looking for a friendly, organised and confident
individual to join their team as a Lead Software Trainer and
Implementation Consultant. The company provides admissions
software to independent schools, helping them manage the process
of handling applications from prospective pupils. In this role,
you will learn how the software works and teach school staff how
to use it effectively. You will work closely with schools to
understand their current admissions processes and help set up the
software to meet their needs. This will involve checking data,
making sure the system is set up correctly, testing that
everything works as expected and supporting schools as they start
using the platform. You will deliver training both online and in
person, adapting your approach to suit people with different
levels of IT knowledge. You will also create training guides,
keep customers informed of progress and deadlines, and work
closely with the company's technical team to resolve any issues
that arise. Essentially, you will help schools move onto the new
system and make sure they feel confident using it.
Ensuring Your Success
Ideally, you will have experience working in an independent
school, particularly within admissions or registration, and
understand how schools manage applications. Experience delivering
software training or helping people learn new systems would also
be beneficial, although previous software implementation
experience is not essential. You will be confident learning new
technology and explaining it clearly to others, including those
who may not be particularly confident with IT. Strong
communication and customer service skills are essential, as you
will be working directly with school staff and building
relationships with different customers. You will also need good
attention to detail, particularly when checking information and
making sure data is accurate. Being organised and able to manage
several projects and deadlines at once is important, as is having
a patient, practical and proactive approach to your work. You
will take responsibility for your tasks and see them through to
completion.
In Return
This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that provides
software solutions to independent schools, in a varied role
combining customer support, training and project coordination.
You will have the opportunity to develop your software knowledge,
work closely with schools and help customers improve the way they
manage their admissions processes. The role would suit someone
who enjoys working with people, solving problems and helping
others learn, with the opportunity to develop their skills in
software training and implementation.
