I am currently working with a well-established high street law firm in Pontefract that is looking to recruit an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner to join its residential property team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys managing their own caseload but also values working within a friendly, supportive environment where professional development is encouraged.

What will you be doing?

• Managing your own caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion.
• Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Dealing with remortgages and transfers of equity where required.
• Reviewing contracts, title documents, searches and enquiries.
• Drafting and reviewing legal documentation.
• Preparing reports on title and mortgage reports.
• Managing exchanges and completions.
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors.
• Providing regular updates to clients and ensuring transactions progress efficiently.
• Maintaining excellent standards of client care throughout the conveyancing process.

What are we looking for?

• Ideally, a minimum of 3 years' experience working within residential conveyancing.
• Previous experience independently managing a residential conveyancing caseload.
• Applications welcomed from Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers, Chartered Legal Executives and experienced Conveyancing Fee Earners.
• Strong knowledge of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Confidence handling transactions from instruction through to completion.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• A proactive, approachable and professional attitude.
