The Role:
As a Warehouse Operative, you will:
- Ensure accurate order fulfilment and high-standard packing.
- Operate forklift, manage stock, and prepare goods for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe warehouse and meet KPIs.
- Follow Health and Safety rules and ensure place is safe and secure to operate.
- Collecting and placing stock in various parts of the warehouse.
- Guide lorry drivers and making them park at loading / off-loading location.
- Checking & off-loading stock with forklift and placing at correct location.
- Making space in the warehouse to accommodate deliveries by driving pallet truck and hand stacking
- Operate shrink wrapping machine we shrink appox 150 pallets a day.
- Ability to work as a team and take responsibility of task in hand
- Ensure all trucks leave on time and fully loaded and items left behind.
What We’re Looking For:
- 1-2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment (desirable).
- Ability to Drive Forklift and electric pallet truck with confidence.
- Organised, proactive, focused and ability to plan ahead with a positive attitude.
- Ability to lift and carry light/medium boxes and stand for long periods.
- Strong communication skills and a team player.
- Ability to lead and motivate your colleagues.
