About the role
Location: ME1 area
Hours: 10 hours per week initially, increasing to 20 hours per week
Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience and qualifications
Contract: Ongoing placement
Remedy Tutors is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed SEN Tutor to support a student through personalised one-to-one tuition.
This is an excellent opportunity to build a positive working relationship with one student, helping them develop their academic skills, confidence and engagement with learning. The placement will begin at 10 hours per week, with the opportunity to increase to 20 hours per week over time.
The RolePlan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons.
Teach both Maths and English to support the student's academic development.
Adapt teaching methods to suit the student's individual learning needs.
Build a trusting relationship and encourage confidence and motivation.
Monitor progress and celebrate achievements.
You must be confident teaching both Maths and English.
You have a patient, supportive and adaptable approach.
You can build positive relationships with children and young people.
Experience in tutoring, teaching or supporting students with SEN is desirable.
Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
