Senior Manufacturing Engineer
Alcester
Monday to Thursday – 07:30 to 16:30 & Friday 07:30 – 12:30
Up to £65,000 – Dependent on experience
Our client is a precision engineering specialist that manufactures custom products to the energy, defence and aerospace industry sectors. They are currently seeking experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their team.
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will be supporting the Manufacturing Manager, drive continuous improvement activities, assist with implementing a Lean manufacturing culture, provide technical support to the wider team and to resolve any technical engineering issues.
Senior Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:
- Support the Manufacturing Manager and the wider Engineering Team
- Provide technical support to customers and the Engineering Team
- Assist with delivering the EHS model across the site
- Resolve technical engineering issues when required
- Drive continuous improvement activities
- Assist with implementing a Lean manufacturing culture across the site
- Understand the Tooling processes required for each product
Senior Manufacturing Engineer Requirements:
- Previous experience working in an Engineering Leader or equivalent position
- Experienced working in a technical manufacturing environment
- Must be confident in resolving technical engineering problems
- Must be able to lead a technical Engineering Team
- Experienced in implementing a Lean manufacturing culture within an organisation
- Must have experience/knowledge of manual Tooling processes
- Experience working within either energy, aerospace or defence sectors would be advantageous
This Senior Manufacturing Engineer position is based in Alcester and is commutable from Pershore, Evesham, Studley, Redditch, Worcester, Stratford-upon-Avon and Droitwich.
