About the role
MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a leading manufacturing business to recruit a Project Engineering Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a manufacturing or engineering background to take ownership of projects from initial concept through to production, while supporting new product introduction, capital investment and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead new product introduction (NPI) projects from concept through to production launch.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, resources and capacity requirements.
- Drive improvements across engineering processes, machinery, tooling, productivity and product quality.
- Manage capital expenditure planning, approvals and purchasing.
- Monitor project and departmental budgets, ensuring accurate reporting.
About You
- Third-level qualification in an engineering or technical discipline.
- Previous project management experience, ideally within manufacturing or engineering.
- Experience in a management role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
