Receptionist

Monday to Friday | 9:00am–5:00pm | Temporary Contract

Macildowie are working with this client based in Derbyshire, a well-established business operating within the construction materials sector, to recruit a friendly, organised and professional Temporary Receptionist.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact, providing excellent customer service and supporting the smooth running of a busy office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answering incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries to the appropriate departments.

• Welcoming visitors and ensuring a professional first impression.

• Coordinating hotel bookings and occasional travel arrangements.

• Managing incoming and outgoing post.

• Supporting general office administration and ad hoc tasks.

• Ensuring the reception area remains tidy, welcoming and organised.

About You:

• Previous reception, administration or customer service experience.

• Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.

• Friendly, approachable and professional attitude.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Comfortable managing multiple tasks throughout the day.

• Confident using Microsoft Office and general office systems.
