About the role
Overview
An established specialist SEN school in the London Borough of Sutton is seeking a committed and experienced KS4 SEND Teacher to join their team ASAP, full time ongoing basis.
This role offers the chance to play a vital part in preparing young people aged 16–19 for adulthood. You will support learners with complex needs to develop independence, functional academic skills, communication, and confidence within a structured and nurturing setting. Also teach non verbal students
Key Responsibilities
Take responsibility for a class of learners with complex needs
Design and deliver engaging, highly differentiated lessons
Adapt learning to meet individual EHCP targets
Establish consistent routines and implement positive behavior strategies
Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and multidisciplinary teams
Track progress, complete assessments, and contribute to annual reviews
