Retail Assistant, Rowcroft Shop, King’s Ash Way, Paignton

We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to join the team at our brand-new Rowcroft Hospice shop on King’s Ash Way, Paignton, located at the new Lidl site.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a completely new shop from the very beginning, helping to create a welcoming and vibrant space for customers while raising vital funds for local hospice care.

As a Retail Volunteer Assistant, you could be involved in a variety of activities, including:

• Greeting and serving customers.
• Operating the till (full training provided).
• Receiving and sorting donations.
• Preparing stock for sale, including pricing, steaming and displaying items.
• Promoting Gift Aid sign-ups and Lottery ticket sales.
• Helping to keep the shop clean, organised and inviting.

No previous retail experience is required. We are looking for people who enjoy meeting others, working as part of a team, and making a positive difference in their community. Full training, ongoing support and flexible shifts are available throughout the week, including weekends.

Volunteering with Rowcroft is a rewarding way to meet new people, gain valuable retail and customer service skills, build confidence, and support patients and families across South Devon.
