Technical Claims Manager

Join our client, an award-winning international law firm, as a Techncial Claims Manager!

In this role, you will be responsible for the line management of the Claims Team, managing internal resources and taking ownership of complex claims. You will also oversee the day-to-day relationship with a portfolio of clients and act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

This role is suitable for someone with excellent management skills and a thorough knowledge of financial services legislation, end-to-end claims processing and compliance frameworks.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

• Acting as a point of contact for general client queries
• Supervising and mentoring direct reports to create a high performing team
• Managing the team’s files to comply with SLAs and KPIs
• Ensuring quality and integrity of MI captured within the case management system
• Liaising with internal administration to deliver reports to Insurers
• Delivering training, coaching, and ongoing support to the team
• Identifying trends and escalating risk information where appropriate
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and suppliers
• Carrying out regular audits of team members to ensure standards are achieved

Skills and Experience Required:

• Previous experience within a similar role is essential
• Experience in claims management
• Experience within insurance or financial services preferred
• An understanding of legal frameworks and the importance of compliance
