Broker

We are seeking an experienced Broker to join our growing International Casualty Direct & Facultative (D&F) team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing complex placements, developing client relationships, and contributing to the continued growth and strategic direction of our global D&F offering.
Working alongside a highly experienced team, you will collaborate with clients, underwriters, and colleagues across our international network to deliver innovative placement solutions while supporting business development initiatives.

The Role:

• Build a strong understanding of clients' businesses, risk profiles, and insurance requirements to deliver tailored placement solutions.
• Develop and execute effective placement strategies by identifying appropriate markets and negotiating with insurers and reinsurers.
• Manage and strengthen relationships with clients, underwriters, and internal stakeholders across the business.
• Support the preparation of client presentations, programme structures, pricing models, and placement documentation.
• Work closely with Account Executives and Sales teams to structure competitive and profitable solutions.
• Identify opportunities to retain, grow, and develop existing client relationships while supporting new business initiatives.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects, contribute to business development activity, and support responses to new business opportunities and RFPs.
• Collaborate with colleagues across specialist teams to deliver technical expertise and cross-selling opportunities.
• Ensure all placements and documentation comply with regulatory requirements, internal governance, and contract certainty standards.
• Maintain accurate records across relevant systems and contribute to continuous process improvement.
• Keep up to date with market developments, products, and industry trends to provide expert advice to clients.
