We are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant who has previous experience working with students who require additional learning or educational support. Experience within a mainstream secondary school, SEN school or specialist setting would be advantageous.
This SEN Teaching Assistant role would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, SEN TA or Graduate Teaching Assistant who is looking to develop their experience within a secondary school setting.
We are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who:
- Has previous classroom-based experience in a mainstream or SEN setting
- Has experience supporting students with additional learning needs
- Can provide effective one-to-one and classroom support
- Is calm, patient and consistent in their approach
- Can build positive relationships with students
- Understands the importance of safeguarding and professional boundaries
- Can work effectively alongside teachers and other support staff
- Is committed to helping students develop academically, socially and emotionally
