Working Pattern: 11 days on / 3 days off
Working Hours: 7am–6pm, with weekend hours paid at overtime
Pay Rate: Negotiable

Overview

Corrie Recruitment are looking for an experienced Storeman / Telehandler Operator to join an ongoing civils project in Orkney.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the site stores while also operating a Telehandler to assist with the movement and distribution of materials around site.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day operation of the site stores
• Receiving, checking and distributing deliveries
• Maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring materials are available when required
• Loading and unloading materials using the Telehandler
• Keeping the stores and surrounding areas clean, organised and secure
• Coordinating with site management and the wider site team regarding material requirements
• Carrying out daily plant checks and reporting any defects
• Following all site health and safety procedures

Requirements

• CSCS Certification – essential
• CPCS or NPORS Telehandler certification – essential
• Driving Licence – essential
• Previous experience working as a Storeman within a construction/civils environment
• Previous Telehandler operating experience
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Reliable and professional approach
• SSSTS is not essential

• Ongoing work
• 11 days on / 3 days off rotation
• 7am–6pm working hours
• Weekend hours paid at overtime
• Rate negotiable
• Travel and accommodation can be provided
• Local candidates preferred
