Senior Residential Support Worker
Greenwich, London
£15.50–£16.00 per hour | 40 hours
We are recruiting a Senior Residential Support Worker to support the Registered Manager and lead shifts within a children’s residential home.
You will provide high-quality care and support to children and young people, promote safeguarding and positive behaviour, and support the Residential Support Worker team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead shifts and support the running of the home.
- Provide children’s residential care and support.
- Safeguard children and young people.
- Support emotional and behavioural needs.
- Supervise and mentor Residential Support Workers.
- Contribute to care plans, risk assessments and records.
- Work with families and other professionals.
About You
- Level 3 qualification in Children & Young People’s Services or equivalent.
- Experience in children’s residential care.
- Experience supporting behaviours that may challenge.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.
