About the role
Core Trainee - Emergency Medicine - Evening Shift
Locum Core Trainee evening shift available in the Emergency Department at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This evening shift (16:00–00:00) is part of the Unscheduled Care directorate's ongoing locum requirements at the RVH, one of Northern Ireland's largest and busiest major trauma centres.
You will provide emergency care during the busy evening and late-night period as part of the RVH ED team, managing undifferentiated acute presentations including medical emergencies, surgical referrals, major trauma, and resuscitation cases. The RVH is the regional major trauma centre for Northern Ireland, offering exposure to the full spectrum of emergency medicine.
This position requires a doctor registered with the GMC at Core Trainee level or equivalent, with a valid licence to practise. You must have right to work in the UK, up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, BLS/ILS certification, safeguarding and infection control training, and professional indemnity insurance. A minimum of two professional references is required.
