Residential Support Worker

At Kingsbrook House, nurture, patience and relationships are paramount. In order for relationships to grow and flourish there needs to be comfort, trust and patience that remains strong when things are hard. It is so important that we are all able to voice our thoughts and feelings and equally important that we are all able to listen to guidance and to be able to think, process and respond. We believe that every child is unique and is capable of growing emotionally, mentally and intellectually. We are looking for people who share our passion, who are resilient, caring and committed to making a lasting difference. In return, you’ll join a team that will support your development, value your ideas and recognise the important role you play in changing young lives.
If you’re looking for more than just a job and want to be part of a home where you can truly make a difference every day, we’d love to welcome you into our family.
Due to location all candidates must have a full UK driving licence

At Aspris, we want every young person to feel understood, supported, and ready to take on the world. That’s why our homes are shaped around the needs of each child - this ensures that all of our young people get the support that’s shaped around their strengths, challenges, and goals.

As a Residential Support Worker, you will be at the centre of the fun! Taking young people to see their friends, trips to the cinema, partaking in community events such as fundraisers and galas, teaching the young people to cook, encouraging them to be independent and many other brand new opportunities that they may never have had the chance to do previously. This role allows you to really make a difference to the lives of those under our care and to build strong relationships with the young people and staff alike.

At Aspris, learning never stops - and that’s something we truly value. As a growing organisation, we rely on accurate, detailed data, which can include sensitive information such as incident reports and disclosures from young people. High attention to detail is essential to the role.

To support you, we offer continuous CPD and development opportunities, helping you grow and become the best version of yourself.

What does this mean?

• Automatic enrollment onto NVQ/SVQ qualifications within 6-months of starting a Residential Support role
• The opportunity to be qualified to degree level
• A clear pathway for you to progress in your role
