Portland Park Medical Centre is a busy but forward thinking practice, situated in Hamilton. We are looking for a hard-working, organised, enthusiastic individual to join the team in assisting us in delivering administrative support to the clinical team and patients.

We are looking to recruit for 27 hours per week, with a working pattern as follows: Monday 08:00-18:00, Tuesday 08:00-18:00 and Friday 08:00-18:00.

Salary for this post is £14.25 per hour.

The role would include a variety of reception tasks- answering telephones, making appointments, accurate message taking, liaising with patients face-to-face as a first point of contact at reception, organising and completing prescription requests, processing and dealing with results and other general administrative duties using systems Vision and Docman.

We seek someone with excellent problem solving, communication and customer service skills, proficient IT and computer skills, and someone who has the ability to work as part of a team. Previous experience of working within administrative services in health is advantageous, however we will provide full on-site training for our preferred candidate.
