Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer looking for a varied role where no two days are the same? We are seeking a motivated and technically minded engineer to support customers across the South of England, carrying out maintenance, fault finding, repairs, installations, and commissioning of specialist equipment and systems.
The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing high-level technical support at customer sites, ensuring equipment operates efficiently and downtime is kept to a minimum. This is a hands-on position that combines problem-solving, customer interaction, and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Install, commission, and configure equipment and systems.
- Complete service reports and technical documentation.
- Deliver exceptional customer support while on-site.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with quality and safety standards.
- Liaise with customers and internal teams to resolve technical issues effectively.
About You
- Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or similar technical position.
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Electrical, electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical engineering experience.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Full UK driving licence.
