Trainee Equipment Technician

Working within our warehouse you will build, service and maintain equipment, playing a vital role in ensuring our customers have access to the equipment which may save a life! 

Key responsibilities include:

• Building, packing and servicing the complete range of S-Cape™ systems (or working towards this)
• Completing all builds, servicing and maintenance work with accuracy and attention to detail, as this is safety-critical equipment
• Completing all relevant documentation in accordance with our internal standards framework
• Receipting goods in
• Picking, and distribution of customer’s orders
• Inspecting working at height Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in line with manufacturer’s guidelines and relevant legislation
• You may, at any time, be required to undertake additional or other duties within your capacity to meet the needs of the business.

The ideal Trainee Equipment Technician will be/have:

• An excellent eye for/ attention to detail 
• Be willing to work towards IOSH PPE Inspector certificate
• A general interest in health and safety teamed with a willingness to build a career in this sector
• A ‘safety first’ mentality, demonstrating a continuous focus on safety
• Ability to learn and follow processes thoroughly
• Ability to be flexible and support other team members as required
