The Role
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for delivering planned preventative and responsive electrical maintenance across site facilities, ensuring electrical installations and equipment remain safe, compliant and fully operational.
Working both independently and alongside other trades, you will undertake a variety of electrical maintenance, testing, repair and installation activities, including general and cleanroom lighting, fire alarm systems, RCD testing, minor electrical works and project installations.

- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and technical specifications.
- Ensure all electrical works are completed in accordance with current regulations, including BS 7671 and site safety procedures.
- Carry out routine inspections to identify potential electrical faults, hazards and maintenance requirements.
- Work collaboratively with maintenance teams, contractors and other trades to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections and testing.
- Promote a positive health and safety culture, ensuring all activities are carried out to the highest standards.
To be successful in this position, you will ideally demonstrate:
- Proven experience working as a qualified Electrician within a commercial, industrial or facilities maintenance environment.
- Recognised electrical qualifications, including the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
- Inspection and Testing qualification, such as City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent.
- Experience undertaking planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider maintenance team.
- A strong commitment to health, safety and maintaining high standards of workmanship.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established organisation offering a varied and hands-on electrical maintenance role.
The successful candidate will benefit from working across a diverse range of electrical systems and facilities, with opportunities to support improvement projects, specialist installations and ongoing site development.
