PPA Teacher

A friendly and supportive First School in Redditch is seeking an experienced PPA Teacher to work 4 days per week across classes, starting in November, until February initially.

This PPA Teacher role is perfect for a confident and adaptable practitioner with strong knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum. This is a non-planning role, allowing you to focus on delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment across a range of classes.

Working across classes, you will play a key role in supporting pupils’ academic progress and ensuring continuity of learning throughout the school.

As a PPA Teacher in this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 and 2 national curriculum.

• Following and adapting pre-planned work to meet the needs of all learners.

• Supporting pupil progress and providing feedback in line with school policy.

• Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

• Working collaboratively with class teachers, support staff, and senior leaders.

• Promoting pupils’ emotional wellbeing alongside their academic development.

To be successful in this PPA Teacher role, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Previous experience teaching across all key stages.

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

• A flexible, reliable, and professional approach.

• The ability to adapt quickly to different classes and learning needs.
