Warehouse Operative (PM Shift)

Join a busy, well–organised refrigerated warehouse operation where your accuracy and reliability directly support smooth order fulfilment for major customers. This temp to perm PM shift role offers consistent work, clear processes, and a focused team environment where performance and safety are prioritised. About the Role: You will play a key part in the warehouse team, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and processed accurately and on time during the afternoon and evening shift. Working within established procedures and using warehouse systems and scanners, you will help maintain efficient stock movement and high service levels. Your contribution will support daily KPIs and the overall performance of the Lutterworth operation. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A CHILLED WAREHO0USE 3–5 DEGREES Hours/Days of Work: 14:00pm – 22:00pm (5 days out of 7 so will include weekend working on rota basis) Key Responsibilities: Pick customer orders accurately from pick locations using voice picking headsetsPack items securely and correctly, ensuring labels, documentation, and packaging meet required standardsLoad, unload, and move stock using manual handling equipment in line with safety guidelinesConduct basic stock checks and report any discrepancies or damages to supervisorsFollow all site health and safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and safe working practicesWork to daily performance targets and KPIs for picking, packing, and throughputCollaborate with team members and shift leaders to maintain workflow and resolve basic issuesSupport general warehouse duties as required, including palletising, wrapping, and waste disposal Key Requirements: Proven experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environmentDemonstrated order picking and packing accuracy in a fast–paced settingAble to operate manual handling equipment safely (e.g. pallet trucks, pump trucks)Strong awareness of health and safety requirements in a warehouse environmentComfortable working to performance targets and KPIs on a PM shift patternReliable, punctual, and able to follow standard operating proceduresClear communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team Desirable Skills: Experience in a high–volume e–commerce or retail fulfilment centrePrevious work on late or night shifts within a 24/7 operationExperience within a chilled environment Essential Skills: Must have had warehouse picking experience Able to carry out manual tasks as this will involve lifting and moving products so you must be physically fit and able to carry our required tasks Reliable and able to work full time hours If you are a dependable warehouse operative who takes pride in accurate work and enjoys PM shift hours, apply now to join a focused team in Lutterworth.
