Trainee Finance Assistant

Prepare journals and support monthly balance sheet reconciliations Assist with paperwork for investment and foreign exchange transactions Support daily invoice raising and cashbook completion Prepare bi-weekly cashflow forecasts Run ad-hoc Power BI reports for the management team Support the preparation of PowerPoint presentations and management information Assist with annual financial statements for subsidiary entities Document financial controls and processes using MS Visio Support process improvements and the wider audit process Contribute to regular reporting to meet business requirements Assist with ad-hoc accounting requests to support timely and accurate financial reporting Work closely with colleagues across the Finance team to understand processes and controls Helpful extras * This is a 12-15 month FTC * Keen to build a long-term career within finance and insurance * Naturally curious with a proactive approach to learning * Comfortable working with data and financial information * Interested in developing technical accounting and reporting skills Interested?
