About the role
We’re recruiting for a part-time Purchase Ledger Clerk to support a finance team in a manufacturing company in Bootle. This opportunity would suit someone with hands-on purchase ledger experience who can confidently manage day-to-day duties. Senior-level experience isn’t required, but you’ll need to be capable, accurate and comfortable working independently.
Key responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices accurately and promptly.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation.
- Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies.
- Resolve invoice queries with suppliers and internal colleagues.
- Support payment runs and maintain up-to-date supplier accounts.
- Keep purchase ledger records and documentation organised.
About you
- Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role.
- Confidence handling routine purchase ledger duties with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good organisation and communication skills.
- Experience using finance systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Available to start as soon as possible.
