Experienced Clinical Coder required for an immediate start in a busy GP practice in Huddersfield! Are you an experienced Clinical Coder with a strong background in NHS General Practice? Are you available immediately and confident working in a fast–paced GP surgery environment? We are currently recruiting an experienced Clinical Coder to support a friendly, well–established GP practice in Huddersfield on a temporary basis. The practice urgently needs additional support to help clear a backlog, so we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running with minimal training. Previous GP practice experience and NHS clinical coding experience are essential for this role. What s on offer? Immediate start for the right candidate Competitive hourly rate Temporary assignment with an urgent requirement Friendly and supportive GP practice environment Opportunity to put your clinical coding and NHS administration skills to use straight away Key responsibilities Accurately coding patient records using Anima Reviewing, scanning and coding incoming clinical documents Ensuring patient records are accurate, complete and up to date Managing incoming emails and maintaining electronic and medical records Supporting the practice with general GP administration as required Helping the team reduce the existing clinical coding backlog efficiently and accurately Essential requirements Previous experience working within a GP practice is essential Strong NHS clinical coding experience is essential Confident using Anima and familiar with GP clinical systems such as SystmOne or EMIS Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload A proactive approach and the ability to get started with minimal training Who should apply?
