Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator Location: Saffron Walden Salary: negotiable DOE Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 17.00pm Contract Type: Full time / Permanent Sector: Manufacturing & Logistics Are you well versed in Supply Chain within a manufacturing or assembly environment? Our client based in Saffron Walden is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team. As Supply Chain Coordinator your duties will include: In line with production schedules, plan, run and review MRP When placing orders, Take account of BOMs, lead times, open orders and minimum order quantities Indentifying supply risks Placing orders and following through to delivery Price negotiation / sourcing new suppliers Reporting KPIs as well as writing supply chain procedures Assist in improving current systems Being a central point of contact for suppliers Additiional relevant duties as required. An ideal candidate for the Supply Chain Coordinator will have: 5 years+ previous experience of supply chain within a manufacturing or assembly enviroment Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems Strong analytical and organisational skills Supplier management experience Strong IT skills Excellent communication skills, verbal & written A relevant supply chain degree is desirable.
