Business Development Manager

£40,000 basic with realistic OTE circa £100,000.

We're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who knows how to sell multimedia advertising and marketing solutions to brands.

Think digital, out-of-home (OOH), audio and integrated campaigns. This is about understanding what brands want to achieve and putting together advertising solutions that deliver.

You'll join an established media sales business, working within a specialist sector such as health & beauty, finance, food & drink, charities or other consumer markets.

If you've already built relationships and expertise within a particular sector, even better.

This is a genuine 360° sales role. You'll win new business, manage your own accounts and develop long-term, profitable relationships.

You'll be:

• Identifying, approaching and winning new brand clients

• Selling multimedia advertising and marketing campaigns

• Building relationships with marketing teams, brand managers and decision-makers

• Developing proposals and pitching creative, commercially effective solutions

• Managing clients from initial approach through to campaign delivery

• Retaining accounts, identifying new opportunities and growing spend

• Building a strong pipeline and consistently delivering against targets

You must already have experience selling advertising, media or multimedia marketing solutions to brands.

We're particularly interested in people who:

• Have a proven track record in new business media sales

• Understand digital, OOH, audio or integrated advertising

• Can sell solutions rather than simply media space

• Have experience managing and growing client accounts

• Are confident pitching to marketing and brand decision-makers

• Are commercially driven, proactive and motivated by earning serious commission

Existing relationships within a particular industry sector would be a real advantage.

• £40,000 basic salary
